Why engagement shoots? Like I’ve said before, my husband and I did NOT do an engagement photo shoot. I regret that. I know it would have given us an hour to reconnect and focus on each other. I think too we would have benefited from meeting our photographer to get both comfortable with our photographer and photographed together as a couple. With most people it is uncomfortable getting photographs taken and that shows in the pictures. At your engagement session Mary and I will put nerves about being photographed at ease. We have a way about doing this that works every time. It is so important to us to really know each bride and groom. We want your love to sing to us. It creates magic. We LOVE those real, organic images of love and we strive to achieve that with every session. Because images of love and happiness are beautiful. They speak to your heart.
Allison and Adam are adorable. We felt immediately connected and on a mission to get those real moments between these two. Having attended and met at the University of Michigan they studied in certain places, and had special memories in each spot we sought out on campus. It was magical. We were racing against time with a huge storm cloud moving slowly towards us, but it didn’t cool their heat. Rain drops entered the scene. Mary LOVED it. Allison and Adam agreed to her ideas and of course. More magic.
We are so excited for their May Wedding in Ann Arbor!
