Fall Foliage // Independence Oaks Wedding and Cornhole Tournament :: Clarkston, Michigan

Jessica and Jon had an AMAZING wedding day. It was pouring with lightening and rain as I drove up to Independence Oaks but cleared almost completely as I finished setting up lights in the pavilion. I snapped a few images of the falling rain and went off to find the bride and groom. We talked strategy for rain and our timeline for the day. The sky was still dark and ominous but with just a drop or two falling spastically we all decided the timeline should hold. Guests were trickling in and finding seats as others were drying chairs for their loved ones. The short ceremony included sweet vows written by the bride and groom and just a few rain drops. I have just a few sneak peeks to share, and more to come. This wedding was SO fun! The bride and groom arranged for a cornhole Tournament to be played by their guests. It was SO enjoyable to see EVERYONE engage and get competitive with the game. It was a fabulous idea, and a wedding I won’t soon forget…. especially with a gown like Jessicas….

P.S.

Jessica, I want that dress. <3

and congratulations <3
