World Breastfeeding Week :: Beauty in Real Life :: Documenting Fleeting moments in Motherhood

Because its World Breastfeeding Week we did this 🙂

We did it to help normalize breastfeeding because so often breastfeeding women are stigmatized, treated poorly or are faced with discrimination while breastfeeding. Its a totally normal and natural thing to feed your baby, regardless of how you do it. We all eat. 🙂 Breastfeeding is normal.

Each year I invite all the mamas who are able to come and breastfeed together in my local park. It is now a state law all over the USA that women are able to breastfeed anywhere they would like… although women still are being harassed for feeding their children. This isn’t about HOW or WHAT you feed your baby… because we all need food. This is about removing the negative and sexualized stigma. Feed the babies. Love on each other.
