Love this little and her sweet sweet family. Mom and dad waited to find out if she was a he or she… and I always love hearing the news after so much anticipation! This lifestyle newborn session was a special treat because I am a teacher with Jenna (mom). Its a HUGE compliment when our friends and family ask us to capture images like these for them. HUGE deal – thank you to Jenna and Jason for trusting me to capture your sweet little princess. I had no idea Jenna was so creative – her little girl’s nursery was beyond beautiful… complete with a pink throw pillow dad picked up right after she was born. So much love in this home – this little is truly blessed!

This is a perfect example of a Newborn lifestyle shoot at your home. Parents are always in awe of their overly precious bundle and it is o difficult to remember those first few weeks. I know I attempted to memorize each little coo and stretch my little made. I love shooting the loving looks mom and dad give their sweet little. It is the natural love that I hope to capture between parents and child/children. The relaxed in home session captures that nursery that you took so long to prepare, and of course any other sweet thing I happen to see that melts my heart while I visit. Lifestyle shoots are also best if there are any siblings because we aren’t as worried that baby may wake up. In fact all of the normal daily newborn things are what we really love to capture… even the cries.  Typically if mom or dad wanted a few posed shots I try to do those when baby is most sleepy. I coordinate with mom on what colors and types of props she likes prior to the shoot. This way I come ready with a few baskets and wraps all set for baby.
