When most think of a nursing session they might get shy, or uncomfortable. As a current mother of a little nursling I know how difficult, trying, frustrating and completely rewarding this time is with my little guy. When I first started nursing I was uncomfortable, unsure and very shy. I think now everyone in my family has caught a glimpse of my bare boob! During the two days I took these Nursling photographs with four different women I came away feeling so completely normal in my own journey as a nursing mom and in love with everything nursing. We are mighty women. What we do, no matter how long we stick with it, matters. It is truly a gift both for mother and child. These nursling sessions are such a blessing and I am honored to capture such intimate moments between mother and child. The mini sessions are geared towards nursling/bottle-feeding time with mommy, but snuggling is always encouraged. At the end of the time we always stop for a mommy and baby photograph, because lets face it… we all forget to get IN the photograph!

This time in life is so precious and so short. Most moms wish they had photographs of their littles after the fact. Through these sessions I hope to capture and document this special time between you and your baby with photographs you will treasure for the rest of your life.
