It was a steamy February afternoon and the sun was shinning so bright when we met up for Aaron & Kaityln’s engagement session <3 Weather is always something to consider when planning out a winter photo session. I personally love the cold and snow, but for those who would prefer the warmth of summer a botanical garden is perfect! Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor is a lovely local botanical garden and a perfect option for warmth during the winter months!

These engagement sessions are super important for both my couples and myself. This is our chance to work together prior to your beautiful wedding day. I am learning how best to work with my couples and they are learning how to best hold themselves in photographs. I call it the dress rehearsal. A show can’t go on without a little run through… and I always offer tips and tricks while we whisk through our time together <3
