Today these beautiful hearts will wed on a date that is significant to them. The Corona virus pandemic forced their large wedding celebration to wait until 2021 due to state restrictions. However, that didn’t mean they wanted to wait to be married. For this couple and many others COVID-19 has changed the look and scope of their wedding. Fortunately, they have all they need, and the focus is pure.
Love.
Love wins today as they wed in a ceremony with immediate family in attendance. My heart is swelling with love and I am sure the tears will flow tonight when these two vow to be one <3
2020 Micro Wedding, 2021 Celebration
Micro weddings are all the rage this year. They are simply a wedding with all of the aspects of a traditional wedding minus the guest list. They still have a cake, ceremony and most importantly… love. Many 2020 newlyweds are choosing to celebrate their marriage in 2021 with guests who would have been invited originally to their wedding ceremony but due to the pandemic less guests are legally permitted at gatherings in 2020. I always suggest that couples who wed in an intimate setting with plans to do a celebration at a later time, video their ceremony to share at their future wedding celebration. Its a way to share with your guests the most important aspect of the traditional wedding day that is missed at the celebration.
