EsterCobe52 week 31 // Celebrations

I think I typed the topic ten times before coming to a suitable word. 2020 has been an interesting year, and while I recognize the struggle and bad, I also see the good. I really do try to highlight what its good. I do this whenever I photograph my adventuresome boys while they are inside the house. Typically there are foot destroying legos covering the once clear floor and overturned baskets of colorful magna-blocks. I choose to see the beauty in the scene.

So, although today marks the end of 2020, I do see the good. We are celebrating your New Year’s eve with our yearly traditions that do night involve staying up past 10 for us and 8 for the kids. We have done the late thing, but I usually can’t stay up unless a good puzzle has me going.

While I do not have a resolution or goal for the new year, supplies are set out for my kiddos to make noise makers and the glow sticks are set for our before bed dance party. I have a photo booth set up for the kids to enjoy and too its an easy way to get a final 2020 photograph of my babies. We make a special dinner and puzzle throughout the day. This is our perfect way to celebrate 2020 and welcome in a new year. Then on January 1, 2021, we hike!

So what is the goal for week 31?

Photograph your celebration. Document your New Years eve. I can’t wait to see what fun you had in the final week of 2020.

See you in 2021! Happy New Year’s
